Outbound Sales Representative (on Site)

SUMMARY

To proactively engage with potential and existing authors to generate sales, build strong relationships, and meet sales targets. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to introduce products or services, follow up on leads, and close sales. Maintain an organized record of author interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM software. Analyze authors’ needs, provide tailored solutions, and deliver compelling presentations to showcase product value. Be responsible for achieving individual and team sales goals, and for continuously seeking new sales opportunities through research and prospecting.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Conducting Outbound Calls: Engage with potential and existing authors to retain clients and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Design and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the needs of authors seeking to publish and market their books.
  • Customer Engagement: Manage daily interactions with authors, including training, pipeline management, lead tracking, and marketing activities.
  • New Business Development: Actively hunt for new business opportunities by cold calling prospective authors in the defined region.
  • Follow-up and Satisfaction: Follow up with authors to ensure satisfaction with services and identify opportunities to expand sales.
  • Product Recommendations: Recommend and upsell publishing and marketing services that meet the specific needs of each author.
  • Professional Resolution: Address and resolve author inquiries with a high level of professionalism.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with authors regarding account information, services, pricing, promotions, and other relevant details.
  • Relationship Building: Use leadership skills to build strong relationships with authors and assist them in developing solutions for their publishing and marketing needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist authors with any issues related to their accounts, including tracking orders, handling discrepancies, and resolving any publishing or marketing challenges.
  • Database Maintenance: Accurately maintain the CRM database with detailed records of author interactions and sales activities.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor projects to ensure quick delivery of services and resolve any delivery disputes promptly.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales targets, customer engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Courtesy Calls: Conduct courtesy calls to check in with authors and maintain ongoing communication.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team and enhance the overall customer experience.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 year of experience in the BPO Industry
  • Experience in outbound sales – IS A PLUS

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Fluent and effective in verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and corporate procedures/regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and responds to questions from a group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
