SUMMARY

The Bookkeeper & Data Entry Control Operator will be responsible for a range of tasks to help clients deliver timely service of financial information to internal and external stakeholders. The core focus is to record, monitor, and make timely adjustments to financial transactions within our ERP platform, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recording and Monitoring of Sales and Purchases of Inventories on the ERP platform
  • Effective monitoring of Inventory Costs
  • Processing Accounts Payable tasks including data entry of billings and reconciliations.
  • Processing Accounts Receivable tasks including invoices and reconciliations.
  • Entering and processing a variety of payrolls.
  • Review and tidy of client data files in preparation for annual tax compliance.
  • Responding to client bookkeeping on the respective accounting software.
  • Processing bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the Month End process
  • Preparation of monthly Income Statement, Cashflow Statements and Balance Sheet.
  • Performance client billing activities as required.
  • Provide general accounts administration support to clients.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of experience as an offshore bookkeeper/ accountant catering to international companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant License is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience in Odoo Platform is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in other accounting software, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP may be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • A positive attitude, proactive and committed to the role.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards.
