SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Medical Writer with an advanced degree in life sciences. Our ideal candidate is someone who can convey scientific data and clinical research results in a clear, concise manner. As a Medical Writer, you are tasked to review all product page information for medical accuracy and review, edit, and even write medically authored blog content.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Precision Expert: Review and edit high-quality, medically accurate product information and instructions to be posted on various sites.
  • Editorial Virtuoso: Write, review, and edit articles for publication in medically authored blog content
  • Pharmaceutical Pathfinder: Research pharmaceutical drugs, clinical studies, and medical products
  • Content Architect: Create content calendars and timelines for our website, newsletters, and PR.
  • Trend Explorer: Identify industry trends by reviewing related literature searches.
  • Information Sleuth: Thoroughly study reports and cross-check information.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct frequent and thorough quality control checks on each submission.
  • Document Steward: Ensure that documents adhere to the organization’s writing guidelines, and are appropriately stored and organized.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Editorial Expertise: Exceptional editing and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail. A solid grasp of language, syntax, and the nuances of different content formats.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication abilities to effectively collaborate with writers and other stakeholders, providing clear, constructive feedback.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple content projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Analysis Skills: Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills.
  • Master of Document Management: Fluency in document management systems and templating.
  • Dedication to operational excellence.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Ph.D. or M.D. in general medicine (or a specialization in diabetes)
  • Experience writing and editing scientific documents
  • Prior experience as a consultant - IS A PLUS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Fluent and effective in verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and corporate procedures/regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and responds to questions from a group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
