Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Hybrid must be located in Cebu and be amenable to meeting up with the team for leadership meetings

About the Role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to support our growing BPO operations. This role will focus primarily on end-to-end recruitment and general HR support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working collaboratively within a lean HR team as well as with upper management.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Responsibility)

  • Handle the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, job offers, and onboarding
  • Support high-volume hiring requirements typical of a BPO setup
  • Coordinate closely with hiring managers and operations to meet evolving staffing needs
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from application to onboarding
  • Prepare and manage recruitment-related documentation and trackers

Independent Contractor Coordination

  • Support onboarding, documentation, and offboarding of independent contractors
  • Coordinate with the HR Communications Manager on contractor-related concerns and escalations
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and contractors when HR support is required
  • Ensure contractor records, agreements, and compliance documents are properly maintained

HR Operations & Support

  • Provide general HR support to employees and contractors as business needs arise
  • Assist in implementing, improving, and adjusting HR processes and policies as directed by upper management
  • Maintain and regularly update HR and recruitment databases, trackers, and personnel records
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all HR data and documentation
  • Support basic HR administration as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in HR Generalist or Recruitment roles, preferably in a startup or BPO environment
  • Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment
  • Familiarity with working with independent contractors is an advantage
  • Highly flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with changing processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with HR leadership
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities without rigid structures
